Fluorescence spectrometer

Varian Cary Eclipse

This spectrometer can be used for the measurement of the fluorescence and phosphorescence emission and excitation spectra as well as phosphorescence decay curves.

Luminescence measurements are useful for materials as well as molecular sciences for gaining information on both unwanted (impurity) and planned dopants in materials as well as the materials or molecules themselves. This device has pulsed excitation source. The setup is also equipped with a temperature-controlled cuvette holder.

Specifications:

  • Pulsed Xe lamp for excitation.
  • Detection in the range of 240–850 nm.
  • Fluorescence, phosphorescence and biochemiluminescence modes.
