🇫🇮 Materiaalikemia ja kestävä kehitys –k 🇫🇮 Materiaalikemia ja kestävä kehitys –kurssin harjoitustyöt ovat päässeet vauhtiin! 🧪 Opiskelijat perehtyvät metallien erotus- ja tunnistusreaktioihin sekä sensorimateriaalien valmistukseen. Lisäksi he harjoittelevat eri mittausmenetelmien, kuten röntgenfluoresenssi- ja reflektanssispektroskopian sekä jauheröntgendiffraktion käyttöä. 🇬🇧 The lab projects in the Materials Chemistry and Sustainability course are well underway! 🧪 Students are exploring metal separation and identification reactions as well as the preparation of sensor materials. One of our PhD students, Josh, together with Mika, have been collaborating with Tampere University — and their first paper is now published! 🎉 The article, “Novel 3D-Printed Biophotonic Scaffold Displaying Luminescence under Near-Infrared Light for Photopharmacological Activation and Biological Signalling Compound Release,” is now out in Advanced Healthcare Materials! 🩺
